Leon Aliu made a major statement in the Cage Warriors middleweight division in the main event at CW 138.

At the Charter Hall in Colchester, England, the Italian fighter of Albanian descent scored a first-round KO of hometown hero and former 185-pound champion James Webb.

Luke Shanks also recorded a win inside the opening frame, as the ex-flyweight title-holder saw off the challenge of Josh Reed.

Elsewhere on the card, Tom Mearns and Oban Elliott were also victorious, while the opening bout of the night ended in a majority draw after George Tanasa was penalised with a two-point deduction for an illegal knee against Scott Pedersen.
