On Saturday, Japanese promotion Krush held its 117th installment at the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
The nine-bout fight card included the quarterfinals of the Krush Featherweight Championship Tournament (-57.5 kg/126.76 lbs) and was headlined by a super bantamweight title clash (55 kg/121.25 lbs) between defending champion Masashi Kumura and Taito Gunji.
Kumura retained his title via three-round unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the match 30-27 in his favor. It’s Kumura’s third consecutive win since a stoppage loss to K-1 Champion Yuki Egawa last year.
