CW106: Night of Champions results战报如下：
Cage Warriors stamped their name in the Eventim Apollo history books tonight alongside many of the worlds most prolific entertainment icons, crowning 6 world champions in their biggest card to date.
The unforgettable Night of Champions main event was ruled a no-contest after referee Marc Goddard deemed neither Ross Houston or Nicolas Dalby able to continue to a fourth round.
What transpired before that decision is sure to become one of the most talked-about welterweight battles in recent MMA memory. Both men went to war for three rounds and inflicted ruthless damage, but the best is yet to come – the rematch will have to happen sooner rather than later!
Jack Grant vs Jai Herbert for the lightweight title was exactly as fans and critics had hoped – dynamic, fast-paced and without any shortage of exciting striking and grappling exchanges.
Herbert’s pressure was too much in the end, and he took the belt with a very impressive TKO on the feet. If the UFC don’t come calling, the Birmingham man will surely be looking ahead to Cage Warriors return to the city on October 26th for his first defence.
Mads Burnell’s tremendously efficient submission game was on show in the third title fight of the evening, when he wrestled the featherweight belt away from former champion Dean Trueman.
We’ll let fans debate the fight of the night in the coming weeks, but a strong contender will surely be James Webb’s exhilarating first title defence against Nathias Frederick. The two middleweights went toe-to-toe for the full five rounds, ending in ‘and still’ for London’s own Webb – but with plenty of fans calling for a rematch.
It was a strong night for the French, with Morgan Charrieré, Alex Lohoré and your new world flyweight champion Samir Faiddine picking up big wins.
The first title fight of the night saw Londoner Modestas Bukauskas lift the light-heavyweight belt, battling back from behind in the score cards to secure a TKO victory against formidable Danish challenger Martin Hamlet.
下一场CW107期大赛将在今年9月28日打响，Up next for Cage Warriors is a return to the fighting city of Liverpool for CW107 on September 28th.

Cage Warriors 106: Night of Champions – the most stacked card in the promotion’s history – is less than 24 hours away. This afternoon, many of Cage Warriors’ biggest names from across the continent met in London to weigh in for tomorrow night’s fights at the Eventim Apollo.
In the main event, welterweight champion Ross Houston (169.6lbs) will take on Interim champion Nicolas Dalby (170lbs) to unify the belt. The war of words that has transpired over the last few weeks continued into the weigh-in room today, with the men having to be separated at the scales. It was one of the most intense stare-downs Cage Warriors have seen in recent years, and brought about an energy that’s set to come to a climax on fight fight.
There are five other title fights on the card, all of which will go ahead with every fighter making championship weight.
In the lightweight division, the vacant title formerly held by Conor McGregor is on the line when dangerous finishers Jai Herbert (155lbs) and Jack Grant (155lbs) – both bang on the championship weight limit – meet in what’s widely regarded as the most exciting fight in European MMA right now. Middleweight Champion James Webb (184.5lbs) will defend his belt against Nathias Frederick (183.6lbs), and Featherweight Champion Dean Trueman (144.4lbs) against UFC veteran Mads Burnell (144.5lbs).
Vacant belts are up for grabs in the flyweight and light-heavyweight divisions, when Sam Creasey (123.8lbs) meets Samir Faiddine (125lbs) and London prospect Modestas Bukauskas (203lbs) takes on Norwegian national superstar Marthin Hamlet (204.4lbs).
